Competition Rules
Last updated: April 2026
These rules govern all competitions (challenges) on the Monafis platform. By joining a challenge, you agree to abide by these rules.
1. Eligibility
To participate in challenges, you must have a registered Monafis account with a complete developer profile including a profile picture, CV/resume, and at least one contact method. Teams are allowed if indicated in your profile.
2. Entry Fees
Each challenge has an entry fee structure with three tiers: Early Bird (limited slots at the lowest price), Discounted (reduced price), and Full Price. Once your payment is confirmed by an administrator, your entry is final and non-refundable.
3. Submission Requirements
All submissions must include: a live deployed website URL (e.g., on Vercel or Netlify), a public GitHub repository URL, a video walkthrough (maximum 3 minutes) explaining your solution, and a readme describing completed features. All materials must be your original work.
4. Deadline Enforcement
All submissions must be completed before the submission deadline. Any commits pushed to your GitHub repository after the deadline will result in automatic disqualification. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
5. Judging Process
Challenge owners review and rate all submissions during the judging period. Judging criteria include code quality, design implementation, feature completeness, and overall user experience. The challenge owner selects 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
6. Prizes & Ranking
Winners receive prizes from the challenge prize pool distributed as specified in each challenge. All participants earn ranking points based on their placement. Points contribute to your tier progression: Novice, Contributor, Expert, Master, and Grandmaster. Medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) are awarded to top 3 finishers.
7. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited: submitting plagiarized or pre-built solutions, using code or templates from previous projects without disclosure, sharing solutions with other participants, attempting to manipulate the judging process, creating multiple accounts to join the same challenge, and any form of harassment or misconduct.
8. Disqualification
Violations of these rules may result in disqualification from the current challenge, forfeiture of entry fees, suspension or ban from the platform, and removal of ranking points and medals.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a judging decision was unfair or another participant violated the rules, you may submit a dispute through the platform. Disputes will be reviewed by the Monafis team and resolved within 7 business days. Our decision is final.
